Recipe Ingredients-

4 Sheets Nori (Dried Seaweed)

4 Cups of Prepared Sushi Rice

1 Large Cucumber, sliced

Equipment Needed-

Measuring Cups

Pot

Fork and Spoon

Cutting Board

Chef’s Knife

Recipe Instructions-

  1. Firstly, you need to gather and prepare all the ingredients, which includes cooking the sushi rice. Since all brands of sushi rice have different preparation times and methods, I would just advise to follow the instructions on the package of the rice.

2. Next, place one sheet of Nori on a flat surface, I used a marble cutting board however you can use a cutting board, and then spread 2/3 cup of the prepared rice as shown.

3. Then, place 4 pieces of the sliced cucumber at the edge of the Nori, as shown in the photo above.

4. Roll the Nori, so that the cucumber is in the middle of the roll. I cut off the ends so that all of the pieces were even, then sliced each roll into 4 equal pieces.

5. To serve the rolls, I placed them all onto a cutting board and my family had them with soy sauce.

Self-Reflection and Feedback-

The recipe went super well for me. Everything went smoothly and the sushi tasted great.

The sushi was really good, my family and I are avid sushi eaters and honestly these did not taste much different from the Kappamaki in restaurants.

The whole recipe was pretty good! I do not have anything bad to say about it.

I would definitely cook this again, it is a great recipe to make as an appy or something similar.

I think in the future I would like to add maybe mango or avocado into the rolls, because my favourite rolls ever are mango and cucumber rolls and I think during the summer that would be a great lunch idea.

I would give myself a 10/10, I think that these turned out awesome.

Feedback-

My entire family loved these! They even asked me to make seconds.
